Mark Richins

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana Mark's biggest hobby is spending time with his growing family. He also enjoys being outdoors and studying the topic of music psychology. He has been playing piano and composing music for almost twenty years. After completing his a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he continued to study music at Brigham Young University-Idaho.
At BYU-Idaho, Mark studied piano performance with Dr. Stephen Thomas, piano pedagogy with Dr. Steven Allen and piano collaboration with Dr. Micheal McQuay. He participated with the regular curriculum of music theory and history and had his compositions performed in recitals and the annual BYU-Idaho hymn festival, graduating as a Bachelor of Musical Arts. He continued to become a Master of Music in Music Therapy at Illinois State University and actively practices as a board certified music therapist.
